Bhatkal: SIO demands CBI enquiry in Madrasa student's lynching case; submits memorandum to PM Modi

Bhatkal 26 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Demanding CBI enquiry in the mob-lynching inidents that are growing regularly in the country, SIO Bhatkal unit on Friday submitted a memorandum to Prmie Minister Narendra Modi, through Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner in the wake of the killing of a eight year old madrasa student in Delhi's Malviya area on Thursday 25 October. The memorandum addressed to Narendra Modi, added that the rise in number of mob-lynching incidents has led to a sense of fear among the minority communities as 'particular communities' are being targeted, attacked and assaulted in public by the mob and investigations to which has so far led to nowhere. Watch video report here: https://youtu.be/dTn9lPoKiRk SIO Bhatkal President Abud SM, while speaking to media, demanded strictest possible action against both perpetrators and executioners of such crime while also calling for CBI investigations into all these cases. Jamat-e-Islami Hind Bhatkal Amir, Mujahid Mustafa added that these incidents are bringing shame to the country at the international level, and that the government should immediately take a stand and be committed to curb the issue. SIO Bhatkal Secretary added "The government should make its stand clear on this, we do not want any other innocent in any part of the country to fall prey to such hate crimes". The SIO also expressed their deep sorrow and solidarity to the victim and their family and at the same time. Strongly condemned the killing of the fellow citizen. SIO Bhatkal campus secretary Bilal Ruknuddin, WPI Secretary Showkat Khateeb, APCR District secretary Qamaruddin Mashaikh and others were at the AC office while submitting the memorandum.
