Bhatkal SIO condemns attack on JNU students in campus; writes to President of India demanding strict action

Bhatkal 6 January 2020: Condemning attack on the students of JNU, members of Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO) Bhatkal Unit submitted a memorandum to Assistant Commissioner addressed to the President of India urging him to take strict action against the miscreants. The memorandum was submitted on Monday, January 6 at AC Office in Bhatkal with hundreds of students holding placards and banners to express their dissent over the January 5 attack in the JNU campus and hostel that has widely been condemned. The memorandum urged the President of India to take a strict legal action against those found guilty and involved in the attack that saw several students and faculty members of the university sustain injuries. Members of SIO, students of various college were present while submitting the memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner of Bhatkal.
