Bhatkal: Shotokan Karate Institute organizes 8th batch Black Belt distribution and Karate program

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Mohammed Ismail Bhatkal 15 Oct 2017: Shotokan Karate Institute (SKI) of Bhatkal organized their 8^th batch Black Belt distribution and Karate program on Sunday 15^th Oct at Sabhabavana auditorium, Bhatkal. The event marked the first Black belt distribution ceremony of the Karataka Association India Bhatkal's after the demise of its founder Late. Vasudev Naik, who passed away earlier this year of brain hemorrhage. Vasudev's son too received his Black belt at the event. Several Karate students from Uttar Kannada district were handed black and other belts at the event, while several others received awards for their achievements in Martial Arts events. Ms. Roopa kicked off the event, while Nazir Kashimji presided over the ceremony.
