Bhatkal: Shams English School celebrates annual cultural day

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 29 Nov 2017: Idara Tarbiat-e-Ikhwan Bhatkal's Shams English Medium High School and New Shams School on Wednesday celebrated its annual cultural day, at their school campus, wherein several cultural events and competitions were organized for the students. Speaking at the inaugural event, Chief guest for the day Yusuf Kola, Principal Anjuman PU college for boys, stressed upon building leadership qualities, getting trained and also urged students to take lessons from the lives of companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as we the Muslims are sent to the world as 'Khalifa' (Leaders) and explained the students the true and Islamic meaning way of being a leader. Guest of Honor Veerendra Shanbagh, Principal New English PU College Bhatkal, during his talk advised students to take note of little things the teachers and parents teaches them as they sometimes come more than handy in their life. He also spoke about how little things or gestures they do can have an huge impact on others life. Ashraf Barmawar's presidential address marked the end of inaugural event. The inaugural event was followed by several cultural competitions between the students, such as English Speech competition, Debate competition, Nasheed, Kawali and others. Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the cultural events and competitions organized throughout the academic year. Campus Secretary Talha Siddibapa, Moulana Azeez ur Rahman Nadwi, Moulan Zubair SM, Moulana Yasir Barmawar, Ismail Zaorez, were also present at the event along with other Staffs of the school.
