Bhatkal: SDPI submits memorandum demanding withdrawal of cases against Moulana Sajjad Noumani

Bhatkal 24 March 2018: Social Democratic Party Of India(SDPI) on Saturday submitted a memorandum to the President of India through Assistant Commissioner of Bhatkal against the false allegations and to withdraw the FIR against Moulana Sajjad Noumani that was filed under 'immense political pressure'.
The SDPI in their memorandum addressed the President and Prime Minister of India urged that Moulana Sajjad who bats for peace and for the backward people of the nation never gave any speech against the country on 9th feb 2018 as mentioned in the FIR.
The memo further added, Wasim Rizvi using his political influence and pressurizing the police department made false allegations of Sedition against Moulana Sajjad. The memorandum also highlighted about Razvi's speech on 'Terrorism in Madrasas' which hurt the religious sentiments of Muslims.
SDPI in their memorandum requested to withdraw the FIR against Moulana Sajjad and arrest those who made these allegations.
On this occasion SDPI Secretary Zaheer Shaikh, Akeef Gawai, Abdul Azeem and other activists were present at the ACs office.
