Bhatkal rural police seize cattle at Shirali check post

23 July 2013 / Rizwan Ganguly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Bhatkal rural police have seized a truck illegally carrying buffaloes from Hubli to Kasargod on Shirali check post and have confiscated animals being carried in them. They have also arrested two men in this connection. According to sources, 19 female buffaloes and 1 male buffalo were illegally being transported from Hubli to Kasargod, when they were caught at Shirali check post. Two men, Mohammed Ashraf and Khairuddin, have been arrested in this connection. This case has been registered at Bhatkal rural police station and both the accused have been presented in the court.
