Bhatkal: Rotary club inaugurates skill development centre for women

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 30 May 2017: Rotary club Bhatkal today inaugurated a new camp program for skills development for the local women wherein they will trained of sewing, cooking, computer and preparing bakery items. During the inauguration event District Governor of Rotary club Vijay Kumar Pai Raikar, spoke in length about the importance of the course for local women and how it can develop their household skills, and urged people to get benefitted from the program. Prominent members of the club Prakash, Rajesh Naik, Prashant Kamat, Nazeer Kashimji, SM Khan, Ansar Kola, Jalaluddin Kasargod,Abdul Rahman Siddiqui and other were present at the event. Shakeer Hussain, Secretary of Bhatkal Rotary club informed the media about the courses, and said majority of the courses will be of span of 2-3 months while the sewing course will spread across 15-20 days, he also requested local women to take this program as an opportunity to develop their skills. The further informed the requested women to walk into New English school for queries and admissions.
