Bhatkal Rickshaw Union holds protest rally against inflation

Bhatkal - 24 Feb 2011: Auto Rickshaw Union yesterday held a protest rally against petrol and diesel price rise here in Bhatkal. The rally began from Public Chabutra and after passing through Main Road, NH-17, Shamsuddin Circle concluded at Assistant Commissioner's office wherein Union President Mr Nagraj Hegde submitted the memorandum to Govt through Assistant Commissioner. Mr M B Naik accepted the memorandum on behalf of AC Dr Anuradha. As a part of this protest Auto Rickshaws were off the roads from morning till afternoon.

On this occasion Union President Mr Nagraj Naik, Mr Venkatesh Naik, Mr Lakshman Naik, Mr Jayant Naik and Auto Drivers were present.
