Bhatkal: Revenue officials demolish yet another shed built on a revenue land

Bhatkal 21 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Tahsildar on Friday issued an order to demolish an unauthorized Shed that was build on revenue land which was planned to be converted into a hotel, near NH-66 of Belke Gram Panchayath limits. Following the order Revenue officials reached the spot and carried out the order and demolished the shed. The order was issued after the Tahsildar received information about the shed built on revenue land and the owner's plans to convert it into hotel. A JCB was used in demolition of the shed. Speaking to the Media Tashildar V.N.Bhadkar said "Strict actions will be initiated against those who are constructing houses, sheds, buildings on revenue lands and also against those cutting down the tress from the revenue land of the Taluk." He added. Revenue officer Raju Naik, Village accountant Vishwanath Gaonkar, Annayya, Salman Khan and other were present during this operation. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Fristen Dias)
