Bhatkal: 'Register yourself in voter's list between Nov 15-30': Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal Nov 15 2017: Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem on Tuesday issued a press release, appealing locals who are above 18 years to register themselves into the voter's list if not done yet. The press release further stated that the administration has opened a 15 days window between 15 Nov to 30 Nov to enroll people into the voter's list. Regarding this issue, a delegation of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem met Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner (AC) and requested him to personally monitor the whole process and to make sure no names are removed from the voter's list without any valid reason. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com after the meeting, President Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Muzzammil Kazia also requested NRIs to enroll themselves in the voter's list through an Online application, and said locally government officials will visit every home to check for new applicants to enroll in the list. He further said, the delegation also warned AC of protest if the Mundali STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) is cancelled because it is the only way the Ghousia street's sewage problem can be solved.
