Bhatkal: RC Aircraft Design training program organized for AITM students

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 04 April 2018: Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a two days student training program on RC Aircraft Design for the final year B.E. students on 3rd and 4th April 2018. A radio-controlled aircraft (often called RC aircraft or RC plane) is a small flying machine that is controlled remotely by an operator on the ground using a hand-held radio transmitter. The objective of the training program was to design, build and test a RC Aircraft, to create awareness of practical aspects of Aircraft and also to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students in the Aeronautics domain. The trainers were from Aerotrix, a division Skyfi Education Labs, Bangalore. AerotriX is the leading education provider in the field of Aeromodelling in India delivering quality services through hands-on, practical, application-oriented workshops, trainings, projects and internships. The training was conducted in both theory and practical sessions. Testing, Flying and Air Show of RC Aircraft was conducted in the AITM Ground during the afternoon session in the presence of management members including Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Additional General Secretary Ishaque Shabandri, Mohsin Shabandri, AITM Principal Mushtaq Ahmed Bavikatte and Vice principal Prof H M Phalachandra. Prof. Ganesh Panchal (Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering) coordinated the entire event, while Mechanical HOD Dr. Fazlur Rahman K, Mechanical senior professor Dr Padmayya Naik, Dr Shastri, Dr Udayaprasanna, Prof Ibrahim K, Computer Science Prof S.G Bhagwath were present during the training program.
