Bhatkal: Ramachandra Naik's brother attacked while on duty

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Fristen Dias Bhatkal 03 Jan 2017: Eshwar Naik, brother of Ramachandra Naik who had attempted suicide in the TMC Complex premises in September 2017 was attacked on Wednesday when he was on his duty, by throwing red chilly powder in his eyes. Eshwar who works as the meter reader with HESCOM was attacked by spraying red chilli powder in his eyes at around 11.00 am in the morning near Ice Factory when he was on his HESCOM duty. Following the attack, Eshwar was rushed to a local eye specialist hospital for treatment. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com Eshwar confirmed the incident and said he could not see or identify the two attackers who attacked him, he also said the attackers were wearing monkey caps and was riding a bike.
