Bhatkal railway police arrests two for stealing luggage bags on train

Bhatkal/Udupi: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Udupi police in co-ordination with Bhatkal Railway Police on Saturday arrested two persons, following a complaint of missing bag that was registered at Udupi Railway police station earlier in the day.
The detained have been identified as Ahmed Sheikh and Shahira Sheikh, both resident of South Goa.
As per sources, when Prakash Allwyn Mendonsa along with his family was at Udupi railway station noticed their bag to be missing from the train, and informed the Railway police immediately.
Railway police with the help of CCTV Cameras at the Udupi railway station saw the two accused carrying the bag of Prakash, while boarding Matsyagandha Express train that was heading towards Goa.
Udupi police then co-ordinate with Bhatkal railway police, who arrested them when the train reached Bhatkal station.
The Bhatkal railway police later handed over the accused to Manipal police where a case has been registered.
