Bhatkal: PWD clears dangerous curve on Sagar road after receiving complaints

Bhatkal 8 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The Public Work Department (PWD) sorted out the problem of one of the deadly curve at Sagar raod near the fire station by clearing off a small hill in the area. For the past few year, the curve at Sagar road near the fire station was seen as a threat for life for hundreds of passerby everyday here. The drivers had to risk their life while taking a turn near the curve as any over speeding vehicle can collide from the opposite direction leaving no trace for warning. Paying attention to the public grievance, the assistant Executive of PWD Vinayak Shet and his team carved off the hilly region and cleared the curve of any possible danger near the area and thus avoided future possible chaos.
