Bhatkal PSI Naveen Naik to receive Chief Minister’s Gold Medal

Bhatkal, 28 March 2026: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Police Sub-Inspector Naveen S. Naik, who is currently posted at the Bhatkal Town Police Station, has been chosen for the Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for 2025.
The honour has been announced by the state government in recognition of his performance in handling serious criminal cases, including efforts in dismantling drug networks. His work has been acknowledged for both efficiency and consistency in duty.
Naik has earlier served in multiple police stations across the district, including Kumta and Gokarna, before his current posting in Bhatkal.
Officials have noted his quick response in crime investigation and his role in maintaining public order. Within the department, he is regarded as a committed officer with a practical approach to policing.
