Bhatkal: Protest rally against IT raids on Shivkumar

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 04 August 2017: Congress Bhatkal block members today staged a protest condemning the Income Tax department raid on Karnataka Energy Minister Shivkumar. The members of congress claimed the raids to be a part of Vendetta politics against congress by the Central government led by BJP. A huge number of members of the Congress party turned out for the protest and took out an rally from the Party office at Sagar Road which ended up at Shamsuddin circle. Bhatkal Taluka Panchayath president Ishwar Naik, Vice President Radha Vaidya, TMC president Sadiq Matta, Jali Panchayath president Abdul Rahim Shaikh, Vice president Lakshmi Naik, Venkatesh Naik, Manjunath Naik, Narayan Naik, Pushpa Naik and others were among the protestors.
