Bhatkal: Protest against Beef Ban by SDPI

Bhatkallys News Service/Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 01 June 2017: Social Democratic party of India (SDPI) today staged a protest against recent notification of Central Government to state governments banning the trade of cow for slaughtering. Members of the party gathered outside Assistant Commissioner’s office of college road demanding the withdrawal of any such law immediately. Party’s state president Alfonso Franco, Advocate Abdul Majeed, District president of Party Arif Raza spoke at the protest and urged AC to convey the message to central government to withdraw the ban o beef. An appeal was also submitted to the President of India through Assistant Commissioner.
