Bhatkal Power Supply affected due to maintenance work

Bhatkal - 29 Sep 2011: Power supply in Bhatkal will be affected due to metering work which is presently underway at different areas. According to the press release issued by the HESCOM Engineer, the work will continue till 7th October and as a result of this, the power supply will get affected in different areas phasewise. As per the schedule, on 28th, Nagappa Naik Road, areas near BSNL tower, near Sudhendra College, Car Street, Kasimji Complex and Aysha Plaza. On 29th areas near Tahsildar office, Qidwai Road, Fountain Plaza, Welfare Hospital, Kukti Nagar, Nilawar Apartment. After 2 days gap on 3rd Oct, areas from Bunder Road First Cross to Fourth Cross and complete Maghdoom Colony, Dongarpalli and Govt Hospital will be affected. On 4th Oct, areas near Noor Masjid, Old Bus Stand, Marikatta, Tengingundi etc and on 7th Oct, areas near Raghunath Temple, Usman Nagar, Kola Paradise, Housing Board, Sridevi Petrol Bunk, Municipality, Janata Co-operative Bank etc will be affected.

Electricity department has requested all the people to co-operate with the department.
