Bhatkal Police raids three gambling spots, arrests five

Bhatkal 16 July 2019: Bhatkal Police on Monday carried out raids at three places across the town where 'Matka' Gambling was taking place and arrested five people from the spot.
The police also seized Rs.3,750 from the accused during the raids..
According to reports, Police working on credible information, raided a Cycle shop near Pushpanjali Movies Theatre and Pan shops at Sagar road and Bunder road of the Town and seized Rs.1,560, Rs. 1,040 and Rs.1,150 respectively from each shops while also arresting 5 men during the raid.
Three separate cases have been registered at Bhatkal Town Police Station.
