Bhatkal: Police raids illegal Liquor shop, owner of the shop arrested

Bhatkallys News Service/Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 13 July 2017: Local police today raided an Liquor shop falling on National Highway, and recovered liquor worth seventeen thousand rupees including 134 Beer bottles and 45 other liquor bottles from the shop. The raid comes after a recent order by the Supreme Court of India barring shops which falls on National Highways, of selling liquor starting 1^st of July 2017. Despite the order the shop continued to sell liquor after which the owner of the shop and an employee has been arrested.
