Bhatkal police raids another gambling spot, six arrested

Bhatkal 02 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal police on Wednesday raided yet another gambling spot and arrested six person while playing ‘Andar-Baahar’ gambling game in a deserted location at Hanuman Nagar on August 1. The arrested have been identified as Dasa Naik (33), Nagaraj Naik (30), Mahadeva Naik (39), Udaya Achari (34), Venkataraman Naik (32), Raju Naik (26), all are resident of Hanuman nagar of Bhatkal. According to the reports, Bhatkal town PSI Basavaraj raided the spot and arrested the six when they were allegedly playing ‘Andar-Baahar’ gambling game at Hanuman Nagar of Bhatkal. The police also seized a pack of 52 cards, cash of Rupees.490/- and other documents during the raid. A case has been registered at Bhatkal town police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Fristen Dias)
