Bhatkal Police organizes exhibition of security surveillance devices

Bhatkal - As a part of state wide campaign to bring awareness among people against criminals and to celebrate 'Crime Prevention Month', police department has arranged many events throughout Karnataka. As a part of this, Bhatkal police organized an exhibition here at IB to demonstrate various security surveillance equipments and devices.

The program was inaugurated by Mr Sayeed Sajid, Manager, State Bank of India Bhatkal. Speaking on the occasion he said, 'In todays world, people should make use of latest technologies to counter crimes and make the society feel safe and secure'.

Bhatkal DySP Mr M Narayan while interacting with the people stressed the need for using modern security devices to keep criminals at bay.

On this occasion, President of Rabita Society, Mr Abdullah Lanka donated Rs. 20,000/- cheque to police department for installing CCTV cameras in the town.

The program was attended by CPI Guru Mathur, PSI Suresh Naik, Dinesh Naik - local BJP President, Syed Hasan Barmavar and others.
