Bhatkal: Police officials meet Anjuman drivers as a part of 'Road safety week'

Bhatkal Feb 5,2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal police department is organizing the ‘Road Safety Week’ is being celebrated by the Bhatkal Police Department to create awareness about road safety among the local drivers and riders, at Shamsuddin Jukaku memorial building at Anjumanabad.
The officials of Bhatkal police department, today (Tuesday Feb 5) met officials and drivers of local educational institution Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal, and urged them to be good Samaritans by being a careful and traffic rules abiding drivers.
Speaking on this occasion Bhatkal Town PSI Kusumadhara, addressed the drivers and asked them to be careful and cautious drivers while plying students to schools and home, as a single mishap can result in damaging the reputation of the institute and can also lead upto legal proceedings against both the driver and the institution.
He further added that, being a driver of school adds more responsibility to one’s shoulders and that they should understand and acknowledge it, by abiding by all the traffic rules and laws duly.
On the occasion, CPI, directed the drivers not to exceed speed limits while also explaining them about the penalties and legal consequences of various violations traffic rules.
Anjuman's Additional General Secretary, Ishaq Shabandri, Anjuman PU and Degree College Board Secretary, Moshin Shabandri were along with other members of Anjuman, during the meeting.
