Bhatkal: Police Inaugurate Highway Patrol Vehicle

Bhatkallys News Service Bhatkal 21 February 2017: Bhatkal TMC President Sadiq Matta today inaugurated the first Highwaypatrol vehicle of the town at Shamsuddin circle. The vehicle will be a useful asset during the times of emergencies like Road accidents as people will get an immediate help just by dialing 100. Speaking on the occasion Bhatkal DySP, Shivkumar claimed, the vehicle will be patrolling the National highway 24x7 and will be handy during the emergencies. He further claimed that the vehicle will also shift the patients to the hospitals during road accidents without having to wait for an Ambulance. Bhatkal Police Circle Inspector Suresh Naik, Honavar Circle Inspector Kumara Swami, Bhakal Tahsildar, VN Bhatkar, Tanzeem Gen. Secy. Altaaf Kharoori and Vice president Inayath ullah Shabandri were also present at the event.
