Bhatkal: PITSA delegation visits Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen

Bhatkal 13 Nov 2017: A delegation of Platform for Innovative Thoughts and Social Activities (PITSA) visited Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal on 4th and 5th November, while visiting several campuses of Anjuman institution, the delegation was also interested in educating themselves with the Culture of Nawayaths and Bhatkal and it was rightly done by Moulana Abdul Azeem Kazia, Naib Qazi Jamatul Muslimeen and Damudi Abdullah.
Platform For Innovative Thoughts and Social Activities (PITSA) is a collective of academics, social and political activists, writers, journalists and students. Based at Kozhikode in Kerala, the collective has been functioning to promote academic, cultural and social activities among Muslims and other backward sects for last few years. With around active 100 members hailing from various walks of life, PITSA tries to develop it as a common platform for the like minded people to stand together and function for the cultural and academic promotion of Muslims, Dalits and other side lined classes.
PITSA, earlier in their official email about the trip had mentioned "PITSA is now looking to visit all Muslim strongholds in the country in a bid to get a clear picture of Muslim life and draw a comparison between the Muslim dominant regions. PITSA members, through Bhatkal trip, scheduled to be held on November 4 and 5(Saturday & Sunday), are looking to visit Masjids, libraries, institutions and other cultural and spiritual centres, undertaken by Muslim organisations in order to assess the present standard of Muslims in various domains".
The delegation stayed at the residence of Asif Damudi during their trip.
Speaking about Anjuman and its operations the delegation was inspired by the infrastructure, campuses and students' discipline and the value based education Anjuman is giving out to the students.
