Bhatkal 20 April 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Congress Leader and former Taluka Panchayat President LS Naik called a press meet at a private hotel of Bhatkal alleging ignorance by MLA Mankal Vaidya to him and other party leaders, here on Thursday 20th April 2018

During the press meet LS Naik said that "I have been working for Congress from last 21 years and 've been loyal to the party during the ups and downs of the party. But the last four years have been disappointing for me as I have been ignored by MLA Mankal Vaidya since he joined the party, I have been left out from party conferences and meetings" he added.

Naik later claimed that his suggestions, opinions and ideas of development in Bhatkal were not being considered by MLA.

Naik also openly intimidated Mankal Vaidya that if he is not happy or feel offended by his press conference then he may leave the party, and the party will still be able to do good in the upcoming elections with a new face for MLA.

He also tried to grab the attention of the party high command towards the issue and said the party at ground level wants to work cooperatively without any internal differences but is unable to do so under the leadership of Mankal Vaidya.

Satish Naik Mankuli and Eerappa Naik were also present during the press conference.
