Bhatkal: One killed, three injured in a road accident

Bailur 14 June 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) In a tragic road accident between a car and a KSRTC bus, National Highway-66 near Bailur of Bhatkal Taluk one person died on the spot while three others were reported to be injured in the wee hours of Thursday 14 June. The deceased has been identified as Sheakar Naik, while the injured have been identified as Gopal Naik, Shridhar Naik and Indra Naik, all  resident of Aganasani of Kumta Taluk. The incident occurred when the KSRTC bus which was on its way to Gajendragad from Kasargod rammed into the car from behind that was on its way to Kumta at Bailur near Murdeshwar. The injureds were soon rushed to the Taluk hospital of Bhatkal. A case has been registered at Murdeshwar police station.
