Bhatkal: One killed, another injured as two-wheeler collides with ambulance

In a road accident reported from Sarpanlkatte in Bhatkal, one person died, and another sustained injuries when their two-wheeler collided with an ambulance here on Monday evening. The deceased bike rider has been identified as Ramesh Jogi Gonda (41), while the injured person has been identified as Nagappa Narayan Naik. Nagappa was reportedly pillion riding the two-wheeler when the incident took place. According to the reports, the two-wheeler collided with an ambulance that was heading towards Mangaluru from Karwar with a patient onboard. Ramesh and Nagappa were heading towards Sarpankatte from Byndoor. A case in this regard has been registered at Bhatkal Rural Police Station.
