Bhatkal: One injured as over speeding bike crashes onto footpath

Bhatkal 23 June 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A Pedestrian sustained severe injuries when a bike crashed on to him near Kashimji complex of Bhatkal here on Friday 23 June.
The victim has been identified as Mohammed Sawood Gawai.
According to the Source, the incident occured when the over speeding bike on his way to the old bus stand, lost his control and crashed onto a pedestrian who was walking beside the road near Kashimji complex.
The impact of the accident left Sawood with critical head injuries and was soon rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered at Bhatkal town police station.
