Bhatkal: MLA Vaidya lays foundation stone for Mini Harbor

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 23 April 2017: Local MLA Mankal Vaidya today laid the foundation stone for the mini harbor at the Heble area of Bhatkal on Saturday. The Harbor is set to be built at a total cost of 2.4 crore Rupees. Speaking on the occasion Mankal announced an approved plan of sanctioning Rupees 10 crores for the developmental work of each Grama Panchayath. He also assured the locals of coming up with an solution to all of their problems pertaining to their basic needs, he also claimed to have solved 90% of the problems of the rural areas, and said he is further committed to solve ‘all’ the problems at the earliest. The construction of the mini harbor is scheduled to begin within the next two months. The event was presided over by Advocate Nagraj H, while the likes of Zilla Panchayath member Albert D’costa, Ishwar Naik, Maheshwar Naik, HESCOM Director Manjunath Naik were all present at the event.
