Bhatkal 27 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal-Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik on Thursday made a surprise visit to Tahsildar office and Nemmadi Kendra of Bhatkal for inspecting the workings of office. The MLA while addressing the media said, "Looking at the condition of Tahsildar office, it really shocked me to see how it is working, of about 30 staffs, only 12 were present at the office during my surprise visit, rest all including Tahsildar and his deputy were nowhere to be found. If this is how the office runs then I can't figure out how will the public resolve their issues". “I have discussed the matter with DC regarding this and he has assured me of sorting things out within few days” he added. Talking about the mad dog bite vaccine he said “As we all know that the vaccine has to be kept under cold storage it becomes difficult to maintain the quality in the government hospital due to non-continuity of power supply in the Taluka. However, I spoke to Taluka Health Officer regarding this and very soon solutions for this problem will be resolved.” Talking about the sand supply in the Taluk he said “I have spoken to chief Minister regarding the supply of sand. Moreover, if the problem of this is not resolved within 15 days we would organise a protest against District in-charge minister". He also warned the officials at Tahsildar office and Nemmadi Kendra of being punctual to office and to the duty or to face disciplinary actions. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali)
