Bhatkal: MLA Sunil Naik distributes fishing net among fishermen

Bhatkal 29 June 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal-Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik distributed fishing nets to trawl boat fishermen here at Taluka Panchayath office of Bhatkal on Thursday. About 49 applications for fishing nets were received from Bhatkal, however the fishing nets were not distributed among fishermen due Lok Sabha election's Model code of conduct. However on Thursday MLA Sunil Naik distributed 35mm Trawling boat nets worth Rs.10,000 each to the fishermen. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
