Bhatkal: MLA Mankal Vaidya lends financial support to a poor man after receiving WhatsApp message seeking help for his treatment

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 09 Oct 2017: Bhatkal MLA Mankal Vaidya on Monday visited Krishna Moorthy Shet, who was bitten by a snake a few weeks back and the venomous wound had infected his legs. MLA’s visit comes after Krishna sent a message on social media messaging app WhatsApp seeking financial help from people for his treatment. Eventually the message reached MLA Vaidya, and he thought to pay him visit. MLA visited Krishna at his residence in Sonarkeri area of Bhatkal, and handed him an undisclosed amount of financial help personally, while assuring him of further financial help from Government’s funds. MLA Vaidya was accompanied by Congress Block President Vittal Naik, Jay Karnataka party president Sudhakar Naik, Municipal councilor Venkatesh Naik, Dinesh Sheth, Harish Shet and others during his visit.
