Bhatkal: MLA Mankal Vaidya is doing nothing new as an MLA; developmental work is his duty, says Inayathullah Shabandri

Bhatkal 13 March 2018: ‘Janata Dal (secular) (JDS) state president and former chief minister of Karnataka HD Kumarswami will be visiting Bhatkal and will address a public rally that will be held on March 17th at Anjuman High school ground near Municipality building of Bhatkal, which will bring a new enthusiasm and energy to the party’, stated JSD leader Inayathullah Shabandari in a Press conference that was held at JDS party office here on Tuesday.

He further added that during the assembly election of 1983 and 2013, JDS had occupied 2nd position which indicates the trust of people over the party. It is possible to win the election without any propagation of JDS party and said that the party is aiming to form the government in the state with absolute majority and without forming alliance with any party.

Speaking of the itinerary of Kumaraswamy's trip he said the ex-CM will be welcomed from Sharadahole of Shirali and after offering prayer at Kote Hanumantha Temple, he will be taken in a Chariot for the rally till Anjuman ground near old bus stand and at 12 noon he would address the rally.

Adding further he confirmed that Kumarswamy later will have a meeting with Tanzeem officials at 3:00 pm.

MD Naik during the press conference said “the party will contest the election with a new enthusiasm”.  And stated “during 2013 election with a smaller manpower and funds JDS gave a tough time to other parties, where in this election Bhatkal will see Inyatullah Shabandari as new MLA. he added.

Attacking current MLA Mankal Vaidya, Shabandri alleged that Makal claims all the credit for the developmental work in Honnavar-Bhatkal contituency through government funds and that it is the responsibilty of every MLA do work for the development of the constituency and Mankal is doing nothing new as the public representative.

He further termed MLA Vaidya as the MLA of Boards, Hoardings and false publicity.

During the press conference Panduranga Naik, Krishnanada Pai, Krishna Naik, and others were present along with MD Naik and Inayathullah Shabandri.
