Bhatkal: Miscreants stain walls of temple with cow blood

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal 17 May 2017: In an attempt to disrupt the peace of the town miscreants today stained the walls of Durga Mandir with blood stains of cow leading to huge number of people gathering around the temple. The temple is located on NH 66 near Kwality hotel in Bhatkal. Police rushed to the spot and collected samples of the blood and decided to send the samples for tests in laboratory. People demanded an thorough investigation and stood for stern action against the perpetrators of the crime. Locals also claimed of similar incident being perpetrated 16 years back in 2001 but the investigation did not led to any arrest in the case.
