Bhatkal man injured in a train accident near Madgaon

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal/Madgaon 12 April 2018: A passenger from Bhatkal while travelling to Mumbai sustained injuries when the train he was travelling in met an accident near Madgaon in Goa on April 10. The injured passenger has been identified as Sajid Soudagar, s/o Khalid Soudagar, a resident of  Hanifabad locality in Bhatkal. "Sajid was travelling to Mumbai on Matsyagandha Express for shopping along with seven other family members when the incident took place near Madgaon" a close family source informed Bhatkallys.com. "Sajid sustained injuries when a tree fell on the running train near Madgoan, one person on the train died on the spot on train while another person sustained injuries along with Sajid" source further added. "Sajid is mentally abnormal, so he was rushed to a hospital in Madgoa where after receiving treatment for one day he was discharged on April 11 evening, and is now fine with a fracture on hand" family source added. According to the reports, the deceased person in the accident is yet to be identified by the authorities.
