Bhatkal: Man commit suicides by coming under train

Bhatkal 27 April 2018: A 30-year-old man committed suicide by coming under a running train near Baddukuli of Bhatkal in the wee hours of Thursday 26 April 2018.

The deceased has been identified as Govida Nagappa Naik (30), a resident of Bhatkal.

Sources say that Govida working as a server in a hotel of Bhatkal was depressed over some personal issue, and as a result had developed alchohal drinking habit to the addiction. on 26^th of April between 12:00 – 3:00 am he laid his head on the railway track, and as a result a speeding train ran over his head resulting in his death on the spot.

A case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural Police station.
