Bhatkal: Man booked for deterring TMC officials of discharging duties

Bhatkal 3 February 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal town Municipality Council (TMC) health officer Sujiya Suman on Saturday registered a case against a shopkeeper for stopping the personnel of TMC from issuing notice against the waste littered in-front of his shops here at Nawayath colony of Bhatkal. The accused shopkeeper has been identified as Wasim, a resident of Azad Nagar. According to the sources, when TMC officials were issuing notices against the wastes littered near the shops to the shopkeepers at Nawayath colony, the Wasim allegedly stopped them from issuing notice and questioned the officials saying "who are they to issue notice?". After a heated argument there, TMC Health officer Sujiya Suman registered a case against him at Bhatkal town police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
