Tanzeem organise traning session for Karnataka Social and Educational survey 

 

Bhatkal, September 21: A training session was organised at the Tanzeem Hall on Sunday in connection with the upcoming Socio-Educational Survey 2025 (caste census) being conducted under the Karnataka Backward Classes Commission. The programme was arranged by the Social Committee of Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation under the patronage of Majlis-e-Islah-o-Tanzeem.

 

Federation General Secretary Mubashshir Hallare explained the procedure of the survey, the nature of the questionnaire and the responsibilities of the public. He stressed that every individual must provide accurate information and extend full cooperation to the government staff carrying out the work. He also advised people to keep documents such as Aadhaar card, ration card and voter ID ready for verification.

 

Guidance was given on how to fill certain columns in the form. It was explained that in the religion section, respondents should mark Islam; under caste, write Muslim; and in the sub-caste section, they may mention Nawayath, Beary, other, or simply Muslim. For mother tongue, it was suggested to record Nawayathi, Urdu or Beary, as applicable.

 

The session was attended by Federation President Maulana Vasiullah DF, Vice President Advocate Syed Imran Lanka, Social Secretary Zaheer Sheikh, along with several social workers and youth.
