Bhatkal lad bags six gold medals in Chemical Engineering from VTU

Bhatkal/ Tumkur 4 Aug 2018: A Student from Bhatkal studying Chemical Engineering at Siddaganga Institute of Technology Tumkur, bagged six gold medals from VTU for his outstanding performance throughout the four year course.
Abdul Bais, s/o Abdul Basit Kadli, made his family, friends and the town proud after winning six gold medals from VTU for his performance in the Chemical Engineering course, he was awarded the medals at a convocation program held in Bengaluru.
Abdul was a brilliant student academically right from his school days as he was awarded with the prestigious Waqar-e-Islamia award during his SSLC.
He was also awarded Best oral presentation award at an international conference at NIT Tiruchirapalli on Defluoridation of water, a few months back.
Abdul Bais did his schooling from Naunihal Central School till higher primary and moved to Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen's IAUHS Nawayath Colony for his high school (where he was awarded Waqar-e-Islamia), before getting admitted at Anjuman Boys PU College for his Pre-University education. He later moved to Siddaganga Institute of Technology for his Chemical Engineering Studies.
