Bhatkal: 'Kannada Vedike Janani-2018' inaugurated at AITM

Bhatkal 31 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The RNS Rural politechnic Murdeshwar on Wednesday inaugurated ‘Kannada Vedike Janani 2018’ here at the Auditorium hall of Anjuman Institution of Technology and Management (AITM) of Bhatkal. After inauguration, the chief guest of the event RNS Polytechnic Professor K. Mariswami said that the Kannada literature has a history of about 2000 years and it is one of the oldest languages of the world. One can see the Vachana’s litrature in the 12th century by Basavanna and others. “According to a survey done in Karnataka, there are about 7 lac industries and if each industries hire about 3 to 5 people from Karnataka, about 21 to 35 lac kannadigas will get jobs” he added. The Principal of AITM Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Bavikatta who presided the event said that “Our institution has always supported and will always be ready to extend any co-operation to the Kannada Vedike”. K.
