Bhatkal: Jewellery shop near police station robbed, police yet to have a clue about culprits after a series of theft incidents

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ AJ Asadi Bhatkal 10 Sept 2017: A Jewellery shop nearby Bhatkal town police station was robbed of jewellery claimed to be worth nearly 3 lakh rupees. The shop is located next to the Bhatkal Urban Bank near Town police station. The incident comes after a series of thefts has been reported recently and the town police is yet to find a clue or two to crack the case and nab the culprits. Yesterday's incidents has instilled a sense of fear and discomfort among the locals as the culprits were successful in breaking in to a shop so close near the police station, and in spite of the fact that the shop falls under the range of a CCTV camera  installed by the police department outside police station.
