Bhatkal: JDS organizes press meet, plans to strengthen party in Karwar district

Bhatkal 26 May 2017: Following the press conference a few days back by Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) wherein they spoke about strengthening the party across the state, the party once again today organized an press conference. Member of Vidhan Parishad Maritibbe Gowda pointed that JDS is an strong party and it lacks good leader specifically in Karwar District.
He also revealed the party is planning to nominate 20-24 thousand members for 2018 Vidhan Sabha election by June 30 2017 to initiate the preparations for assembly elections.
He was also confident of party winning from atleast four constituencies of Karwar District, and went on to reveal curbing umemployment, waiving of loans of famers, and special programs for development of women to be important part of party’s manifesto in the 2018 elections.
JDS Bhatkal President Inayatullah Shabandri, MD Naik, Dr. Farooqui, Rajeshwari Hegde and others were present at the press meet.
