Bhatkal: Independent candidate Abdul Rahiman Tonka holds roadshow with JD(s) support

Bhatkal 09 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) With Karnataka assembly election's poll day just three days away and the last day for campaigning set to be Thursday, independent candidate from Bhatkal-Honnavar constituency Abdul Rahiman Tonka, on Wednesday held a roadshow in Bhatkal.
Abdul Rahiman was accompanied by a few JD(s) workers and supporters and the candidate himself was seen wearing the JD(s) shawl around his neck.
Earlier on Tuesday, Abdul Rahiman in a press conference had confirmed of fetching support from JD(s) high command after meeting JD(s) state president HD Kumaraswamy. He had also spoke of joining the JD(s) party after the elections.
JD(s) who is terming themselves to be the 'King Makers' in this elections has no official candidate from the constituency after party candidate SM Amjad had withdrawn his name at the last moment.
Meanwhile, BJP candidate from the constituency Sunil Naik is set to hold a roadshow on Thursday at 3.00 pm.
