Bhatkal: Idara Adab-e-Islami organize ‘Mehfil-e-Sher-o-Sukhan’

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal 09 Mar 2018: Idara Adab-e-Islami Hind Bhatkal Unit of Thursday organized an get together of local Urdu poets at Dawat Centre Bhatkal at 09.00 pm here in Bhatkal. Dr. Haneef Shabab, Executive member of the Central committee of the body, welcomed the guests and audience and presented an insight about the working of Idara Adab-e-Islami which is an body of Jamat-e-Islami Hind and works to determine and encourages young poets and works for creating Islamic awareness in poets across the country as use it as the content to convey the Islamic message and teachings among masses through poetry. Local poets who presented their work included Ashraf Barmawar, Moulana Anees Nadvi, Affan Bafaqui, Iqbal Saeedi, Abdullah Rafiq and others. As many as 24 local poets and one guest poet (Ali Basha Bismil) presented their work during the event. The event began with the recitation of holy Quran by Sanaullah Asadi, and was comperred by Dr. Haneef Shabab. Ashraf Barmawar, President Idara Adab-e-Islami Hind Bhatkal unit presided over the event and the event concluded with his presidential remark and Moulana Zubair SM’s vote of thanks.
