Bhatkal Hifz competition a grand success

Bhatkallys News, 1 April 2017 - Jamiatul Huffaz Bhatkal hosted a Hifz competition on Friday evening. Hundreds of attendees witnessed the recitation of Holy Quran at the event which was also attended by Moulana Zakaria Sambhali Nadvi among others. Speaking at the event, Moulana Zakaria said, “The ability to memorise the Holy Quran is indeed a big blessing.” Delegates from UAE attending the event praised the students participating in the Hifz competition. Abdul Rahim Sultan Al Olama said, “I am delighted to be here and see these students  recite the Holy Quran with such dedication and expertise.” He also expressed his surprise on the inability of Indian participants to perform well at the annual Holy Quran recitation competition hosted every Ramadan in Dubai – and praised the reciters at the Jamiatul Huffaz event for their correctness in recitation.   Moulana Mohammed Ilyas Nadvi, Founder and Secretary of Moulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi Academy also praised the organisers of the event.
