Bhatkal: 'Helping farmers is one of my top priorities' says MLA Sunil Naik at Samagra Krashi Abhiyana

Bhatkal 08 June 2018: Bhatkal-Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik on Thursday inaugurated 'Samagra Krashi Abhiyana', a awareness campaign for the farmers and those aspiring to take up agriculture, the campaign is organized annually by the concerned department. On Thursday Sunil Naik inaugurated the 2018-19 campaign at the auditorium hall of Urban Bank Bhatkal.
In his address at the event Sunil said "Being aware of the modern technology and utilizing scientific methods in agriculture is the need of the hour, and the local farmers should adopt such methods while it is the responsibility of concerned department to make sure the farmers implement it without any difficulties, and to provide them with the required aid and assistance".
"Helping the farmers grow is one of top priorities, and I would try to do whatever I can for the farmers while also arranging them assistance and aid from the government to meet their needs" he added.
Taluk's Agricultural society President Shridar Hebbar also spoke on this occasion and said "Since agriculture already has a great influence on the economic development of a country, special efforts should be made to make sure of its growth, consistency and improvement".
Suresh N Murdeshwar later concluded the program with the vote of thanks.
On this occasion Mahabaleshwar Naik, Shridar Hebbar, GV Naik, Vishnu Devadiga, Hanumanta Naik and others were present on the stage along with MLA Sunil Naik.
