Bhatkal: Heavy rains makes a comeback to the coastal line

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal 28 Sept 2017: Residents across several parts of the costal line of Bhatkal, Murudeshwar, Honnavar, and Kumta saw flooding of the streets after heavy rain made a comeback to the coastal belt on Thursday evening. Normal lives also took a hit as people were seen struck in Bhatkal market for hours on Thursday who left their home least expecting the showers. Streets in Bhatkal were soon flooded too and took hours to make way for residents. Notably, 3515 mm of rain has already been recorded this season which is 300 mm more than what was recorded the previous year.
