Bhatkal: Health inspector distributes Albendazole tablets among college students to mark National Deworming Day

Bhatkal 10 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) To mark the ‘National Deworming Day’ Bhatkal Health Inspector on Friday August 10 distributed free Albendazole tablets among the college students at The New English PU College, Bhatkal. Erayya Devadiga while speaking on the occasion stressed upon the need for Deworming the children, he added "Deworming would improve health, nutritional and learning abilities, reduce absenteeism in schools and increase the prospects of better and healthy lifestyle. The Albendazole tablets helps in preventing diarrhea, cholera and other diseases." The tablets were distributed to about 500 students of the college. Principal of  New English PU college Veerendra Shanbagh and other lecturers were present while distributing the tablets. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Fristen Dias)
