Bhatkal: HEAL Humanity service celebrates Eid-ul-Adha by distributing sweets among non-Muslims

Bhatkal 22 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) HEAL Humanity service, a local organisation which runs the Kapda bank (clothes bank) in Bhatkal marked Eid-ul-Adha by distributing sweets among non-Muslims in different parts of the town.
Several youngsters made their way to the national highway to volunteer the cause and distributed food packets among non Muslims to send out a message of peace, togetherness and brotherhood between different communities.
According to the officials of organisation the food packets consisted of sweets along with a written message in regional language Kannada about the festival for their better understanding.
The packets were first distributed on NH 66 near KSRTC bus stands where it was also distributed to the passengers of buses followed by old bus stand, flower market and Shifa cross.
People from several communities accepted the food packets and shared a smile with the volunteers, and expressed their gratitude for initiating such a cause and lauded their efforts.
